My mission is to reduce the overwhelming number of dogs euthanized due to the owners lack of knowledge of the animal. My goal is to help people realize that giving their dog up to a high-kill shelter when they are having behavior issues is not the only option. Any dog with no rules, boundaries or limitations can--and likely will--develop behavior issues. This does not make them a bad dog, but an unbalanced dog.
From childhood I was raised around dogs. I was taught at an early age the benefits of having a pack leader state of mind. It was during this time that I learned how to communicate with a dog in a way that they can understand. Every dog I have owned has been an exceptional animal and incredibly well-behaved. As a result, my friends and relatives would often ask my advice when their dog had a behavior issue.
On September 8, 2009, I was in a motorcycle accident that nearly cost me my life. It was then I decided that "instead of chasing a dollar and hoping for a passion, I would chase a passion and hope for a dollar". Since then I have completed many rigorous courses at Petropolis Training Academy in order to get my certifications, and I have been helping countless people understand their dogs as a behavior expert.
I specialize in rescue dogs, and work with many different animal rescues across the mid-west. One of my desires is to be able to rehabilitate dogs with questionable futures and pair them with teens and young adults who may also have questionable futures, and let them help each other. I would then like to be able to turn the rehabilitated dogs over to returning veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder so the dogs can continue to help the people who have helped us.
Each day we live is a precious moment. You should appreciate what you have while you have it.
Let me help you become a pack leader.
